Burleskinstituutti, founded in 2011 is an umbrella organization for Finnish education of burlesque and art of tease. The workshops & courses organized by the institute, honor the traditions and the history of the art form as well as celebrate the modern day movement with all it’s diversity.

We will have a little break in July and prepare for the events in fall! August will be a busy month for Frank and me. August 6th we will be in Ship Ahoy, Tampere, I will light my firetassel´s and you will see the same show that was custom made for Venice Biennale Open Helsinki party. 20th August we are going to rock in Bar 45, Oulu. Inbetween these dates will be also be some workshops, stay tuned for that.

The Festival of 2011 is now over and we are heading towards spring! I will be performing at Milan Burlesque Award the upcoming weekend! It will be super interesting to see what goes on in Italys fast growing burlesque scene!

Tässä 2 päivän intensiivipajassa keskitytään tasseleihin ja pastiesiehin!
Tehdään omat kustom tasselit tai pastiesit kuten ne on tehty jo 60-luvulta lähtien.
Saat taatusti kestävät ja itsellesi sopivat pyörittimet!
Opetan teille kaiken alusta asti ja kädestä pitäen. Käydään läpi kaavoitus ja fantasiatasseleiden mahdollisuudet.
Lisäksi käydään läpi shimmyjä ja tasseleiden pyöritystä sekä liikkumista samalla tasseleita pyörittäen.
Paja sopii kaikille, jo esiintyville tai vasta-alkajille.
Pajan kesto Lauantai 5.3. klo. 12.00 -15.00 ja Sunnuntai 6.2. 15.00 – 18.00
